Festive moods

Chinese songs being played on the radio and the malls. Soon displays with reds, oranges propped with real plants, oranges, flowers and plastic ones too. Went shopping today for some decor items..no doubt will not be around for CNY but want to put some festive touches for the home so when i come back, there is warmth. No doubt its still early, but choices are not lacking. There is door couplets, paper decors, furnishings, even the angpow packets are already selling. Its a month to CNY and the early bird wants to catch the worm. Prices are reasonable too, unlike yesteryears when the early shoppers pay more..yes, the last minute shoppers may get some bargains, but hey who wants to buy things already "manhandled"by the picky shoppers? Self consolation hmm.
