Bahama Breeze, 18th Feb

If i have another chance to go Vegas, i will definitely go there again. The food is absolutely delicious. Its Jamaican but pretty close to Malaysian tastes. BBQ type with generous sauce, spicy. They even have plantains..its goreng pisang lah. Not the small type, but the green goreng pisang. Served with beef rack, smoked, bbq till the meat falls off. Finger licking good. But the key lime pie was a disappointment. Gina had her usual, shrimps with bread, which was also yummy. The chowder though was too salty. I had many helpings of the chicken, end result, i had a sore throat and started a cough, of all times, when the next day i was going to head off to Grand Canyon. Most memorable of the meal was when Kee's mother tried to persuade me to go pay the bill on her behalf, and failing to do that, had a peek at the bill on the bill folder. That irked Edna so much, she was lectured on. What to do, old lady is not used to all this. She is trying to figure out how much we have spent on food, incl tips. Well, after dropping off Edna at the airport, we went to pickup the tickets at Mandalay Bay.
