Seeing the predators

We were told that we must reach the Lion enclosure by a certain time otherwise it will be closed. When we reached there, we thought we were not going to gt in because it was feeding time for the lions. The gate was closed and what we could see was the line of lions sitting there gazing at us waiting for the food truck to come in. Boy, that was a scary sight. There are tales of people being eaten alive because they forget that this is the natural wild habitat for the animals and they get out of the car. They also forget the speed in which these animals can run. One Taiwanese visitor thought he was at a safe distance, got out of the car and viola before you can say anything, he was lunch for the lion. When we were there, one man was stupid enough to get out of the car but then a ranger saw him and told him to get in. Some people are just so stubborn. Unless of course you dont mind becoming a meal for the animals. Pair of lions resting in the shade Then a surprise. We saw a pack of painted dogs or wild dogs of South Africa. It would seem therefore that predators are all kept within the enclosure. A pair of warthdogs greeted us as we exit from the Lion enclosure.
