when tacky becomes cute

when you think about all the things you used to call "tacky", "dated", ""old fashioned", so "cliche" and it becomes adorable or cute, then you know you have been bitten by the retail and season bug. yup, i have been severely bitten. i surrender. was shopping for my friend for all the decor items for her party and i am suddenly wearing rosy glasses. see the pic...is that lame or what? a pair of mice put together..and to tell you the truth, i have never found mice cute. not even the cartoons. of course white mice compared to a black rat is very different but hey, think about it, both share similiar genes. white is deemed pure, so we find that cute or we feel sorry for them. black is evil, bad..so we see one black rat, we want to kill it. funny how the human mind is being conditioned.
