LV, 2nd day, 17th Feb

Even though the curtains was closed tight, sunlight crept in through the curtain folds. So we decided to get up early, hitting the shower. Then it was my turn to treat. We decided to eat buffet at Wynn. Edna said buffet at Bellagio was sumptious but since she has tried Wynn, we decided to go the new place. So we walked across from The Mirage. Vegas sure knows how to court tourists, they have constructed wider walkways plus to ease crossing multiple streets, escalators for going up and down, plus lifts for the handicapped. And the security at Wynn, you wldnt even notice unless you looked hard. They dressed like any other folks, some in formal gear, some in sports attire and blend with the crowd. One guy was looking absolutely fab, geared up head to toe with the sports attire of the roller bladder. And what a job..checking out people. I suppose since Vegas is one big entertainment industry, all those who want to be spotted and those spotting have to look their very best. We were early yet there was already a line at the buffet. It took about 10 minutes before we got to the payment counter.Buffet a la Vegas style, no doubt its only 10am in the morning, you have a choice of champagne or non for buffet. And then we were seated. There was salads to roast beef to dim sum to california rolls to home made ice cream. And we ate and ate. After abt two hours, we decided to walk. Down the strip again and took some pictures. This time, the focus was The Forum shops at Ceasers. Wanted to see the changing of the statutes but we missed. Did shopping and unfortunately cldnt complete shopping at The Forum as we had to meet Lei and Gina as Lei was taking me to the Premium Outlets mall. Since it was Presidents Day, the crowd was unbelievable. I had to queue just to get into Coach and the crowd inside, utter madness. Queue again to pay. So if you think you have money to shop, there's another at least 1,000 persons who have more money than you do and are shopping. The hustlers again, they are everywhere. One asked whether i needed help to take some pictures, i said no. Didnt want him running off with my camera. Then we had to hurry back to the hotel, and have a shower. Edna and me going to see 'Ö at Bellagio. Before that, we had "pho"for an early dinner as Gina wanted that. So so, i must say compared to the "pho" i had at Lei's mum's house and in SF.
