Long cold flight

Just checked my last post. Its exactly one year after the last posting. Waalah... Thank God for home cooked meals, the dinner was comfort for my almost 20 hours journey to Moscow. After 3 attempts at online check in, finally got it done on friday morning. Then pack and unpack..Yahoo says weather in Moscow between 16 deg to 25deg..how to pack like that? Dont put in warmer clothes run the risk of trying to find when you need it most, not to mention the expense and not being able to find it. So what to do, pack 2 jackets..one thick, one thin, 2 sweaters...anyway, the flight nowadays is always like a freezer, so better bundle up in order to be able to get some sleep. Am i glad i did that sweater thing..it was so so cold. 2 pairs of socks and finally managed to get myself warm enough to doze off. Didnt even bother with the movies, too tired to try and even watch. Landed in early morning at Schipol airport. Love this airport, its layout well spread with tuck shops, shopping, etc. Must check out the Museum on the way back...the last time i stopped over at this airport, had no chance of doing it. Schipol Airport RIJKSMUSEUM latest exhibit Had 3.5 hours to kill, so first thing was to freshen up so i dont look like the sleepy potato when i go to the shops. Who says the world economy is faltering..no sign of it. And the checks before boarding..out with the laptop, the belt, etc. Then putting it all together again. I dont know how those mothers with young infants and children cope..and no maid in tow, not like in Asia. Finally plane landed at Moscow..one more tedious process. Complete the health check form, hand to the Officer when getting off...my fellow passenger, an American lady had to sit and wait because the health rules was all those who arrived at Moscow via US or Canada had to stay behind till the health checks were done. One of the process we have to deal with global traveling. Better to be careful than to be sick!
