peeling eyes open

Its been a tiring long day. managed to sleep only 2 hours last night and ended up rolling trying to fall asleep. bad mistake. Sleep just doesn't happen the harder you wish for it. Finally decided to get up and have a cuppa at 7 in the morning. It was a great party at Basque, with the belly dancing performance. that lady is fantastic..try balancing a tray of saucer with 2 cups on your head and move your hips in rhythm. just trying one step with the tray on the head is already very difficult. and the saucer was filled with liquid. and then the most dramatic of all, the 8 lions and 1 dragon dance. the first of its kind in the world, the mothers forming the dragon dance troupe, whose children are part of the lion dance. Two cute little girls trying to hold up the lion head, move their feet in rhythm and follow the troupe. No kidding. Did you know you can sponsor a lion if you wish? You start sponsoring by paying for the lion head ensemble, which costs abt $600.00. That there is a black lion ensemble but there are very strict rules pertaining to who can perform that..not novices nor the veterans. It has to be the see fu or kung fu master and you cannot perform the black lion dance on any occasion you like.
